Marvel Madness!!!!

With the release of the Avengers this month I have become a little obsessed with Marvel. All during the month of April, I made Taylor watch all the marvel movies with me. 

Everyone Sunday night we watched a new movie with anticipation for the Avengers movie! On May 4^th we gathered with friends, family, and just about everyone else in the U.S. (it made over 200 million dollars at the box office its first weekend) and watched one of the most well done movies I have seen ever seen!

I was so impressed at how they were able to take 6 characters and give each of them their fair share of screen time, and at the same time have a movie that was action packed, funny, intense, and just plain fun! It was hard to pick a favorite character because they each contributed to story and action in their own unique way. I had big expectations for this movie going in to it, and it actually surpassed them! It was the most fun I have had at the movies in long time, For those who have yet to see the Avengers, you need to do yourself a favor and go see it…… now! (No seriously go see it. You will not regret it)

Naturally after seeing it I got into a big marvel “phase”, as my wife calls it. I have been watching anything Marvel I can get my hands on, even some of the cartoon stuff. I even started reading some of the comics, and this is something I have never really done before. I have always wanted to read the comics, but there are so many of them and I have never real known where to begin. I had heard about one call Marvel Civil War, so I decided to start with that one. Civil War was a very interesting read and has some awesome illustrations. I would recommend it to anyone who is familiar with the Marvel characters. (I’m looking to start a new story arc so if anyone knows of any let me know)

Some of you probably didn’t know I was such a nerd, and may think that it’s a little strange that I got so into all this stuff, but the way I see it is that this has just been my hobby for the last few weeksJ Anyways, it’s been fun to feel like a kid again and enjoy theses great super hero stories, and also see how these characters, who have been around for decades, are still very enjoyable and relevant today. Can’t wait to read some more comics, but most of all I can't wait for the Avengers 2!!!
